A STERLING SILVER TORAH CROWN

Likely Russia, 19th Century. Finial in the form of a bird resting on a ball with sculpted flowers surrounding. Below, sculpted with a miniature torah crown with pierced foliate motifs and bells. Surrounded by sculpted flowers. Crown comprised of cut work pieces attached to each other adorned with bells and applied animal figures. Marked 84 sterling.

48 cm high; 26 cm diameter.
