Boaz Noy

Reflection of Sea,
Oil on canvas, 130X80 cm.

Boaz Noy is a Haifa-based artist, a graduate of the Department of Architecture at Bezalel. After participating in exhibitions at the Haifa Museum and the Petach Tikva Museum, he recently made a significant breakthrough when the Israel Museum acquired one of his works for its collection and he also had an impressive solo exhibition at the Ein Harod Art Museum, prestigious art institutions in the country.

In recent years, Noy has been focusing on local Israeli urban landscape paintings. Influenced by important artists such as Cezanne and Vincent van Gogh on one hand, and leaning on modern Israeli art by Uri Reisman and Liliane Klapisch on the other, Noy’s painting action is dynamic and impulsive, filled with internal contradictions and organized disorder. He is fascinated by urban landscapes, primarily depicting Tel Aviv and Haifa, deconstructing and reconstructing the landscapes while delving into the complexity of urban life with references to social and cultural issues.

Estimated price: $7,000 - $10,000
