AN ITALIAN BRONZE OIL LAMP
Possibly from the workshop of Benedetto Boschetti, c. 1850 22.5 cm high Active in Rome, circa 1820-70 where he opened shop in the Via Condotti. He exhibited works in the great exhibition at Crystal Palaca in 1851. His works in bronze and marble are famous for their quality, especially his works after original Roman and Classical antiques.
