Yitzhak Turgeman, born in Casablanca, immigrated to Israel at the age of six. A graduate of the Bouzar School of Fine Arts in Paris, he taught art at the Paris Academy. He paints subjects from his childhood in oil and mixed techniques. He presented his works in solo and group exhibitions in Paris and North America. Many of his works were included in various art books in Israel and around the world. Education – he developed, wrote and drew a method of teaching reading “shape color and sound”, which is also a product of his practice in art.

Helmet Explanation: War and hope – in Simchat Torah, all the rules of war and morality were violated in an unimaginable way. Screams, death, blood and fire and smoke appeared from all sides. All that remains is to cling to the thought of hope. Without hope there is no cure, without hope there is no life.
