LOT: 2 BOWLS, Maya, Al Salvador/Honduras. Classic Maya period, ca. 600 – 900 AD. The first bowl, decorated with eight lords offering sacrifices and six vultures surround the hieroglyph LAMAT. The second is decorated with six lords turning to the opposite direction and the vultures surround sun disc. The two bowls are complimentary of one another. Diameter: 15 cm / 20 cm.
