Michal Mozes studied drawing and painting with Shlomi Hagai in her youth, is a graduate of Shenkar’s Department of Fashion Design and has a master’s degree in history. In modest formats and while exploring traditional techniques of realistic painting, Michal Mozes’ paintings touch on domestic themes, fashion and events in Israeli society. Born in 1980, Moses left a long career as a product manager in high-tech companies to devote herself to her love of painting. The painting is part of a series of mourning wheel paintings dedicated to settlements and sites attacked on October 7.
